Possibly the thermistor in the boiler is faulty and the boiler thinks it is still hot and isn’t cooliing down even with the pump running.

Well that is my guess without seeing it.

There is the possibility that frozen condensate has caused the problem but it’s a strange error
code to have.

As a contractor who does quite a bit of plumbing, I can say that any of the building trades will take a toll on your body over time so start by finding an over the counter pain reliever that works and stock up! As for making money, The more experience you have, the more money you can make but get ready for some long hours and very hard work, good luck to ya,

Should I buy Vaillant boiler extended protection? Is it worth buying it for £9.99 a month? It is a Vaillant boiler, one year old and had no problems.

Currently, manufacturer’s warranty has expired and I am no longer protected.

I have read all the necessary information on this cover, but obviously there are loopholes in all covers. Please let me know your experience or knowledge about this Vaillant boiler extended protection and your recommendation.

In my view all appliance insurance is a waste of money. If you insured every appliance in your house you could have used the premiums to buy a new appliance if and when failure occurred and still have money to spare.
The chances are your boiler will be fine for many years. You could always put £9.99 a month into an ISA as a contingency fund. That would make more sense.

“Central heating thermostat knob turned off or no heat demand by the eBUS control unit”

We don’t have an external thermostat on the wall or any kind of remote control device does anyone have any idea what the problem could be? Our landlord won’t pick up and we’re freeeezing!

Turn the knob with the radiator symbol up.failing that try turning the hot tap on and see if that starts it.it could well be that the condensate outlet pipe has been frozen and could require you to reset the boiler.Look in the instruction for the reset switch.try this,and if boiler fails after three attempts then try landlord if you still cant get in touch ,vaillant have a help line and could send out an engineer if needed,which the landlord will be liable to pay.
